Dreaming of sweet spring air and al fresco dining? Mark your calendars, because the Tippecanoe Arts Federation is already lining up events to look forward to in spring 2022. You know I love some delicious foodie fare and supporting local, so when the two combine, I’m ALL about it!

Tap & Go Craft Beer Walk

Get outside and support local brews and local artists on Saturday, April 9, at TAF’s Tap & Go Craft Beer Walk. You can even make it a date night! This beer tasting walk takes you along the Wabash Walls mural tour as you sip on regional craft drinks from the area’s most loved breweries, including Brokerage Brewing Company, Lafayette Brewing Company, and Thieme & Wagner. Both art and beer enthusiasts alike will enjoy the sights and tastes of Lafayette at the Tap & Go Beer Walk! 

General admission for the event is $40 from 3-6 p.m. and the $50 VIP Early Start begins at 2 p.m. All tickets also include a TAP sampler glass! Proceeds from the event will benefit the Arts Federation and its mission to help art flourish in 14 Indiana counties. Take this springtime stroll with your significant other or tribe of gal pals to experience the vibrant scene and bold beverages!

TASTE of Tippecanoe

A downtown tradition for all Lafayette locals and over 40,000 visitors annually, the TASTE of Tippecanoe street festival will take place on Saturday, June 18 from 6 p.m. to midnight. The event’s incredible food, music, and atmosphere make it an exciting evening for the family or a fun night out with friends! And something new this year you won’t want to miss; TAF will light up the Lafayette sky with a live light show and video projection performance! Food and drink vendors will feature regional favorites to enjoy alongside the shops and entertainment. From roots and reggae to country and blues, TASTE’s 2022 lineup will make Lafayette’s streets the place to be!

TASTE of Tippecanoe highlights culinary, musical, and visual arts to raise money for educational opportunities and outreach for underserved communities and youth. Stay tuned to TASTE’s website for all the vendors and events. Save the date to have a ball for a good cause!

First Friday Lafayette

Looking for some Friday night fun? First Friday Lafayette is set to return in April! Mix and mingle with friends and neighbors all while supporting local businesses around the square. Storefronts and restaurants like Bloom Kids Collections, Honey Skin Social, and Ripple & Company participate in the festivities and welcome customers with open arms. Complete with live music, art, and events for young and old, First Friday Lafayette will become a monthly staple for the family. Come and celebrate all the things you love about Lafayette!

As the spring schedules fill up with little league, school events and spring recitals make the time for some enjoyment with the events of the Tippecanoe Arts Federation. Can’t wait to see you there!
